A number of retailers across the UK have been facing serious shortages which are pushing them to make several adjustments.
Brexit is said to have contributed to most of the problems in the UK`s supply chain. Most EU nationals had left the country after Brexit leaving many empty vacancies which the UK is struggling to fill. This also prompted serious food shortages affecting many businesses in the food supply sector.

McDonald`s, one of the UK`s renowned restaurants, has been forced to make serious adjustments to its menu due to supply shortages. Recently, it published that milkshakes will no longer be on the menu in all 1,250 of its restaurants in the UK.
“Like most retailers, we are currently experiencing some supply chain issues, impacting the availability of a small number of products,” a statement issued on the changes made by McDonald`s read.
“Bottled drinks and milkshakes are temporarily unavailable in restaurants across England, Scotland, and Wales.”
McDonald`s is not the only outlet negatively impacted by this “Brexit-driven” shortages.

Last week, a renowned chicken restaurant, Nando`s had announced the closure of between 40-50 restaurants because of chicken shortages. KFC had also taken to Twitter to announce that it was also making adjustments to some of its packages due to the lack of chicken.
As Brexit impacts hit with even more looming, most Britons may begin to quiz whether leaving the EU was a wise decision.
