British Home Secretary, Priti Patel has slammed Russian President, Vladimir Putin after investigators said they have unravelled strong proof linking a third man to the Novichok poisonings that killed one British woman and left four others in critical condition.
Denis Sergeev, masquerading under an alias- Sergey Fedotov, is facing several charges that includes an attempt to murder former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

Two Russian spies- Alexander Mishkin, operating under the name Alexander Petrov while in the UK, as well as Anatoliy Chepiga, who assumed the identity- Ruslan Boshirov, are already facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder.
Addressing MPs in the Commons, Home Secretary, Priti Patel declared that the British Government will respond to Russia’s threat with the decisiveness it deserves.
“The Government will continue to respond extremely robustly to the enduring and significant threat from the Russian state,” Ms Patel said.
