Chicago West’s 4th birthday was a dramatic one, to say the least, and her dad (Kanye West) has some people he would like to thank for getting him into her birthday party.
As you most likely know, the 44-year-old rapper went live with his frustration that he was being kept away from the 4-year-old’s bash by his estranged wife on Saturday afternoon. He said at the time:
“Y’all, I’m just wishing my daughter a public happy birthday. I wasn’t allowed to know where her party was. There’s nothing legal that’s saying that these are the kind of games that is being played.

“This is the kind of thing that has affected my health for the longest, and I’m just not playing … I’m taking control of my narrative this year. I’m being the father, the best father, the Ye version of a father, and I’m not finna let this happen. And we’re gonna be real-time with this – Chicago happy birthday. I love you.”

Despite reaching out to Tristan Thompson at one point, Kanye still never got the address and ended up driving around looking for the party. However, the record producer was later spotted at the event speaking with Kris Jenner in an Instagram Story posted by Travis Barker’s step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya.

According to TMZ, the drama ended up being a “case of crossed signals” because Kim thought they were throwing two separate parties, with Ye picking up their little one at 4 p.m. to head to the other one.
So how did the Stronger artist get to the shindig? Well, it turns out it was all thanks to Travis Scott. Ye has insinuated that Kardashian’s security allegedly prevented him from entering her home with his kids because of boyfriend Pete Davidson visiting the home. Sources told us Kardashian has not introduced Davidson, 28, to their children, but that didn’t stop the rapper from releasing a new song, where he threatens to “beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”
“Even though he threatened Pete in a song [‘My Life Was Never Eazy’] and attacked Kim in the media with lies that only hurt their kids and family, she once again took the high road and allowed him to be with the kids [on Saturday] which she does every single time regardless how he treats her,” the first source said.
After all the drama Kanye went and threw his own party. “He was always having his own party for Chicago. He had it at 4 p.m. at his office downtown [in Los Angeles] that he planned, so it’s so frustrating he crashed Kim’s party and created this narrative that he wasn’t invited,” a source close to the former couple told SurgeZirc UK.
