Gandhinagar: For the first time in the world, the spraying of Nano Urea in the field by drone technology has started from Isanpur Mota village of Gandhinagar district in Gujarat. Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel launched this historic initiative of the state government by filling the drone with nano urea and operating the drone. On this occasion, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constantly striving to double the income of farmers. While efforts are being made to reduce costs and increase productivity, we have taken an important step in that direction through the use of modern technology in Gujarat.
The Chief Minister further said that while the entire country is celebrating the Amrit Mohotsav of Independence, in the present time no one needs to die for the country, now everyone needs to live their lives in such a way that the pride of the country increases. To live in such a way that natural resources are preserved and enriched. The use of nano urea will save foreign exchange spent on importing chemical fertilizers and also reduce subsidy costs. India is progressing under the leadership of Finance Minister Narendrabhai Modi and Gujarat has become a ‘growth engine’ in it. He congratulated the farmers for the first time in the country and the world that Nano Urea is being sprayed in the fields of Gujarat through drone technology.
For the first time in the world, the spraying of Nano Urea by drones has been started, IFFCO Chairman Dilipbhai Sanghani, expressing his happiness, said that the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, has dreamed of farmers’ prosperity, safety and economic advancement. To make it successful, the Chief Minister of the state, Bhupendra Patel, is moving forward with determination. Nano Urea research has been done by IFFCO for the first time in the world, he said, adding that the Prime Minister of the country requested to reduce the consumption of Urea for protection of air and air and safety of health of all citizens. IFFCO researchers have developed Nano Urea by conducting innovative experiments.
He said that IFFCO has given its name to realize the motto of prosperity through cooperation. Apart from that many farmers organizations like Gujkomasol are giving good dividends to the farmers. Farmers will be able to do nano urea work quickly through drones. Farmers have taken steps towards a new revolution in agriculture through this technology.
Director of Agriculture S. J. Solanki gave a verbal welcome to the dignitaries and said that the state government has allocated Rs. 35 crore has been provided. Out of which 1.40 lakh acres will be worked through eTosource and I.Khedoot portal method. A list of the names of the farmers will be prepared by the concerned District Agriculture Officer by creating a cluster of villages. An evaluation report will be prepared by IFFCO by spraying Nano Urea in their fields through drones. 35 drones have been brought to the state by IFFCO organization to carry out this work smoothly. Field staff have also been trained. Through i-Khedut portal system Rs. 23 crore will be spent. Nano urea will be sprayed in 92 thousand acres. Individual farmers have to apply online on this portal.
On this occasion, Gandhinagar District Panchayat President Dilipbhai Patel, House Member Shambhuji Thakor, District BJP President Anilbhai Patel, Village Sarpanch Meenaben Thakor, Secretary of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department Bhimjiani, District Collector Dr. Kuldeep Arya, District Development Officer Surbhi Gauttam along with the farmers of the village were present in large numbers.
