Ambaji: 51 Shaktipeeth Parikrama Mohotsav will be held from February 12 to 16 under the joint initiative of Gujarat Government and Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust. A large number of pilgrims will come from Gujarat in this Parikrama festival. Due to which 50 percent relaxation in ST fare will be given for Sarkar Parikrama. 51 Shaktipeeth Parikrama Mohotsav has been organized at Gabbar foothills on Ambaji Gabbar from 12th to 16th February 2023. The government has taken a big decision regarding Shakti Parikrama in Ambaji. For Parikrama, 50 percent relaxation will be given in ST fare and the benefit will be given within the limit of 24 hours of travel. Pilgrim has to provide xerox of Aadhaar card to avail the benefit. Also this benefit will be available from 12 to 16 February. People of Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Patan, Mehsana, Aravalli, Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad districts will get this benefit. Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust has invited all prospective devotees to have a chance to have a simultaneous darshan of 51 Shakti Peeths located all over the world under the 51 Shaktipeeth Parikrama Mohotsav. As part of which, five Shakti Raths are moving from village to village in districts like Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha, Aravalli and Gandhinagar including Banaskantha in North Gujarat and 51 Sakthi Peeth Parikrama are promoting the festival. During the Bhadravi Poonam fair, Ambaji gives a grand welcome to the chariot and is celebrated by the pilgrims.
