Sit in the train and get hungry. Especially if you have gone in a group, you feel like eating something. Railways used to connect you with the station’s famous restaurants-food plaza through the website, but now this service has become very easy. All you have to do is send a WhatsApp message and the meal will be ready. Message is to be sent on WhatsApp number 8750001323. Even those who have not downloaded the railway app will be able to view the list of railway affiliated restaurants and order their favorite dishes. In the second phase, arrangements will be made to contact from WhatsApp number only. At present this service has been started for the passengers of some trains. It will be gradually rolled out to everyone by knowing what the customer experience and suggestions are for the service. At present around 50,000 rail travelers order food daily through e-Khanpan.
