joy: There has been a radical change in Amul, thus BJP has come to power. In the election held in Amul, Vipul Patel became the new chairman and Kanti Sodha Parmar became the vice chairman. In the cooperative politics of Gujarat, Amul affiliate politics is important. Dudhi politics is so widespread that it directly affects 18 thousand villages of Gujarat. Kanti Sodha Parmar, Anand’s former MLA from the Congress, went to Kamalam and put on a sash 50 days after the crushing defeat of the BJP in the assembly elections, everyone was surprised.
Now BJP has declared him the vice chairman of Amul. In which 1215 milk societies are active. The parent organization of 7,53,194 cattle rearers is called Amul Dairy. In which more than 6 lakh milk producers are active. For the last 25 years, Ramsingh Parmar has held various positions in Amul Dairy including Director, Chairman. He has been the Chairman of Amul Dairy for over two decades.
It is to be noted that Ramsingh Parmar resigned from the post of MLA from Thasra before the 2017 assembly elections.
Now BJP has taken the politics of Congress from Amul. Till now BJP and Congress were facing each other. All milk unions in the federation are now ruled by the BJP.
