Rajkot: Saint Shiromani Jalaram Bapa’s 142nd Nirvana Day was celebrated with devotion in Saurashtra. A large number of pilgrims flocked to the pilgrimage site of Virpur. Traders paid tribute by observing a bandh shift. On Jalaram Bapa’s construction day, Virpur resounded with the sound of ‘Jai Jaliyan’. Being Maha Vad Dasham, on the occasion of Jalaram Bapa’s death anniversary, like every year, all small and big traders of the entire Veerpur village paid tribute to Jalaram Bapa by completely shutting down business and employment. Devotees who came to Veerpur had darshan at Jalaram Bapa’s place and took advantage of the food-prasad. A special pooja was performed by Jalaram Bapa’s family members as well as Gadipati Raghurambapa. On the occasion of Jalaram Bapa’s death anniversary in Talala Gir, 1212 rotas were offered to Jalaram Bapa in Jalaram Mandir. Along with this, Samuh Prasad was also held. A large number of prospective devotees took advantage of this. In Khambhaliya, Lohana Mitra Mandal organized a program of pujan-archan, aarti and flag hoisting at Jalaram temple. In which a large number of Jalaram devotees joined.
