Kashmir: The weather is changing rapidly across the country, so that there is a drop in temperature in some places and there is a fear of rain in some places. Fresh snowfall in the Himalayan mountains of North India is likely to bring cold to the plains. At present, due to the heat of the day, there has been a general increase in the temperature. However, the night temperature will drop in Gujarat and there is a possibility of rain in South India.
West Uttar Pradesh and Haryana areas experienced strong winds in the morning, making the weather cool. On the other hand, the heat during the day has given relief to the people from the cold. The country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding areas are seeing a lot of fluctuation in temperature, so the climate has changed.
However, several parts of South India have witnessed outbreaks of rain, resulting in a drop in temperature. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has warned of rain with thunder in many areas of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, some states including Gujarat, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh may see a decrease in minimum temperature up to 3 degrees.
Due to western disturbances in these areas, the Himalayan region is likely to be affected on the night of 14th February. As a result, there is a possibility of light and scattered rain and snowfall along with thunder and lightning in Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad. The Meteorological Department has also warned of rain with snowfall in the hilly areas.
