Mumbai: Many people in the country live below the poverty line. Various beneficial and welfare schemes are being implemented by the Central Government and the State Governments at their respective levels to help these people and raise their standard of living to some extent. Crores of rupees are spent every year on these schemes. Meanwhile, support circles have informed that crores of ration card holders of the country will be given special facilities along with free ration by the central and state governments. So if you also have Antyodaya Ration Card, you will be given one more special benefit by the Govt. Now these ration card holders will be given free medical facility along with free ration.
The government has now gone a step further and made the second facility mandatory for all Antyodaya ration card holder families. Under this, the government has decided to make Ayushman card for free treatment of all Antyodaya card holders. For this, a special campaign will be conducted at district and taluka level as well and under this campaign all the family members of Antyodaya card holders will be covered under Ayushman card. If Antyodaya card holders do not have an Ayushman card they can complete the application process by visiting the concerned department. And after receiving the card eligible beneficiaries can get Ayushman card for all family members by showing Antyodaya ration card at Jan Seva Kendra, Community Health Centre, Private Hospital affiliated to Ayushman Panel or District Hospital. By showing the Ayushman card, they can get free medical facility in a private hospital or district hospital affiliated to the Ayushman panel.
