Dwarka: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi personally visited Dwarka, which is important in terms of maritime security, and inspected the work done by the system to remove illegal pressure. Also reviewed the proceedings of the Revenue Department.
During the sea trip from Okha to Bet Dwarka, he also inspected the work of signature bridge under construction as a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister said that the work of signature bridge will be completed soon.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the state government is determined to keep the strong foundation of security, peace and safety established by Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi in Gujarat. Illegal activities, including illegal coercion, hindering development works will be prevented from progressing and will be dealt with strictly under the law. The government is committed to the safety and security of the people and the campaign to curb such illegal activities will continue, he said.
He added that such activities are being undertaken by the government with the aim of providing easy access to the people in the remote areas without the benefit of government schemes.
