New Delhi: Congress MPs dressed in black and reached Parliament to protest Rahul’s disqualification from Parliament. Sonia Gandhi also arrived wearing black clothes. In the Lok Sabha, Congress MPs waved a black cloth in front of Speaker Om Birla. Then he stood up and left. Before the start of the Parliament session, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge held a meeting of the leaders of the opposition parties in his chamber in Parliament. 17 parties including Congress, DMK, SP, JDU, BRS, CPM, RJD, NCP, CPI, AAP and TMC participated in this meeting. Congress MLAs created ruckus during the budget session of the Gujarat Assembly against the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Parliament. Subsequently, 15 of the 17 Congress MLAs were suspended for the remainder of the budget session till March 29.
