Kutch-Bhuj: Swaminarayan Sampradaya is always working towards bringing positive change in people’s lives. Governor Acharya Devvratji said in the Gau-Mahima Krishi Sammelan on the occasion of Naranarayan bi-centenary festival organized at Swaminarayan Mandir in Bhuj of Kutch district that Swaminarayan Sampradaya is in the first line in humanitarian works like water conservation, tree plantation, rescue operations during disasters, public health.
Swaminarayan Temple was established 200 years ago to serve humanity. The Swaminarayan Sampradaya continuously provides guidance and support to increase the prevalence of cow-based agriculture along with cow-mother conservation and breeding. The governor applauded the work of the sect by saying that the service of the people is the worship of God.
The Governor lauded the human welfare services of Bhuj, the wing of Swaminarayan Sampradaya, requesting that the money be used for philanthropy. He added that with the inspiration of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, the campaign of cow-based natural farming through lakhs of farmers is progressing rapidly. He provided extensive guidance on how cow-based farming could be done. They requested the use of cow-based manure or dung as chemical farming is making the land infertile. The governor explained the long-term benefits of organic farming, debunking the fact that crop production is reduced by avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers.
Congratulating the Naranarayan Bi-centenary Festival organized by Swaminarayan Mandir, Bhuj, the Governor said that the discipline and presence of saints in this beautiful arrangement has created the form of ancient India. On this occasion, the Governor felicitated farmer Dineshbhai Velani, who has achieved special achievements in the field of cow-based agriculture, by presenting a letter of citation. Panchagavya gave the gift of manufactured herbs to the farmers. The Governor visited the Gau-Mahima exhibition and got information about the different breeds of cows, bi-centenary cow-school, cow-based natural farming farm, Mandwa method, horticulture, tapak method etc. Besides, Gau-Mahima watched a documentary prepared under Darshan.
