Kolhapur: Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Arun Manilal Gandhi passed away at the age of 89 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Arun Gandhi’s son Tushar Gandhi tweeted this information. Arun Gandhi was ill for the last few days. Tushar Gandhi said that his father’s last rites will be performed in Kolhapur. Arun Manilal Gandhi is the son of Mahatma Gandhi’s second son Manilal Gandhi. He was born on 14 April 1934 in Durban, South Africa. His father was the editor of Indian Opinion, a newspaper published here. Arun Gandhi later followed his grandfather’s path and worked as an activist on socio-political issues. Arun Gandhi has also written several books.
