Valsad: The work of teacher of Pardi Sandhpore of Valsad, CRC Co-ordinator of Kaprada, Sanjan and social worker of Valsad have been honored by Shree Chaitanya Seva Sangathan based in Madgaon, Goa. For the last 25 years, this organization has been honoring a person who has done excellent work in the field of social work. This year, a total of 29 people from the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa who have rendered excellent service in the field of education and social work were honored. Megha Pandey, a teacher of Pardi Sandhpore Pvt. School of Valsad Taluk, who did innovative work in the education sector during Corona and got the fourth rank in power lifting at the national level, for doing the best work in the education sector. Sonalbehan Desai, CRC coordinator of Sanjan Kendra in Umargam taluk, distributes educational kits to needy students every year and has won silver and bronze medals in national level swimming competitions for the last five years. Kurnalbhai Patel, coordinator of Kharedi CRC center of Kaprada taluk, was the state level champion in the power lifting competition and during the Corona period, the students were provided with motivation, warmth and encouragement through online education through Baiseg. Prajneshbhai Pandey, a social worker of Valsad, who for the last 15 years has distributed free medical supplies, distributed blankets to poor patients, distributed about 15000 food packets to the needy on footpaths. All these social and educational workers were honored by awarding the award in the presence of Madgaon MLA, former Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and Goa Rajya Sabha MP Vinaybhai Tendulkaji.
