Ryan Pope, who starred alongside Jonathan Rhys Myers in the 90s film Velvet Goldmine will be playing the role of former prisoner Terry Smart.

It is expected that Ryan’s character will play an old friend of Jack Osbourne (Jimmy McKenna).
The character is set to make his debut in scenes airing later this month.
Terry will also be involved with the village’s local gangster Norma Crow (Glynis Barber) after it soon becomes apparent that he has a secret connection to her past.
The Sun has approached Channel4 for comment.
Ryan’s ex Sally who is known for playing Abi Franklin on the cobbles remarried ten years after splitting from Ryan.
She is now married to co-star Joe Duttine, who she tied the knot with in 2022.
Earlier this month the couple took to Instagram to show off snaps from their break to Krakow together, smiling wide for a series of snaps on Instagram.
Sally, 42, also looked to be joined by her parents after jetting off to Krakow.
The star smiled with her birthday cake in one snap, showing off her short blonde locks as she kept it casual in a colourful jacket.
Other snaps saw Sally posing with her parents, before walking around a square with the family and enjoying the sights.
The actress also cosied up for a snap with her lookalike mum at a restaurant, as well as cosying up to her beau Joe, 52, outside a pub.
“Considering I’m not huge on birthdays, this one has been an absolute blast. My family rock,” Sally captioned the post.
She also tagged their location in Krakow, Poland, in the hashtags.
