The former employee, Tony Saxon, has filed a lawsuit against Kanye West, accusing him of multiple labour code violations, disability discrimination, unpaid wages, and wrongful retaliatory termination.
According to Tony, he started working for the rapper as a full-time security and live-in caretaker around September 2021. However, he claims that Kanye utilized him for construction-related tasks and made bizarre demands.
In an interview with The Mirror, Tony revealed some of the shocking demands made by Kanye. He said, “The man wanted to poop into a hole in the floor…He wanted to basically live in what at the beginning I thought was supposed to be just an art project.”

Kanye’s requests became increasingly bizarre as Tony claimed that the rapper asked him to remove the electricity from his $55 million home.
Tony stated, “Also no stairs. Ramps, and no electricity, which he got angry with me [about] because he wanted me to remove the electricity without him deciding on which alternate source of power he would like to be, quote-unquote ‘off the grid’ or this has to be off the grid to hide from the government.”
The lawsuit alleges that when Tony expressed concerns about the extreme danger of such actions, Kanye threatened him and labelled him as an enemy if he did not comply. Tony ultimately chose not to put himself and others at risk, and as a result, Kanye told him to leave the project.
