RANGERS could go back to the future with ANOTHER associate of Steven Gerrard, according to a report.
After sacking Michael Beale – the Liverpool legend’s first-team coach during his spell at Ibrox – it is claimed James Bisgrove has made ‘tentative enquiries’ for a replacement.

Another old pal could be in Ibrox cheifs’ sights, according to a report[/caption]
The man in question is a childhood team-mate of Gerrard from his Liverpool days currently plying his trade in the English Championship.
Preston North End‘s Ryan Lowe.
The Daily Record claims Ibrox top brass have sounded out Deepdale contacts for a steer on the compensation fee required for the ex-Plymouth boss.
North End are currently third in the Championship after their best start to a season in almost a CENTURY.
But the report claims the Gers may seek to prise their manager away after he forged a “no-nonsense reputation for delivering an attractive, attacking brand of football while revamping underachieving squads in a ruthless fashion“.
Lowe would be a left-field name to enter the ryunning currently dominated by ex-Gers Kevin Muscat, Derek McInnes and interim boss Steven Davis.
AZ Alkmaar’s Pascal Jansen is also highly fancied in the bookies’ markets, but odds on ex-Gers players have tumbled throughout Tuesday.
Muscat is currently in charge of Ange Postecoglou‘s old club Yokohama F.Marinos and saw his odds as short as EVEN MONEY early on Monday evening.
Both he and the Eredivisie boss are reportedly keen to speak to Ibrox officials.
Killie boss McInnes is now 8/1 having opened the day at 12/1.
Caretaker boss Davis is in his first ever management role but has seen his odds shrink from 16-1 on betfair this morning to 11/2 and even 9/2 on Skybet.
Even Duncan Ferguson, who got off to a winning start as Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss on Saturday in Arbroath has gone from 150/1 to 50/1 after a series of bets on the ex-Everton man.
Meanwhile Frank Lampard – another name linked to the post – has said he is enjoying his spell away from football management and ‘recharging his batteries’ ahead of a possible return to the dugout in future.
He appeared on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football and admitted life away from the game was “good – stress free!”.
