A disused church has been used as a base for a suspected cannabis cultivation in Northfleet.
Kent Police were called at 11.56pm on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 to a report of a burglary at the disused church in Rose Street, Northfleet.
Officers attended and found the lights on inside the building, along with a broken window. Upon entering the building, they found between 100 to 150 cannabis plants.
The plants have since been removed and the premises has been made secure.
Enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible. At least the disused church was being put to use by someone!
