Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on a three-day visit to Gujarat. The Prime Minister was received at Ahmedabad Airport by the Governor, Chief Minister and State BJP President.
The Prime Minister reached the Gandhinagar Vidya Samiksha Kendra directly from Ahmedabad Airport and watched various presentations. The command and control center visited by Modi in Gandhinagar has been given a new name to the Prime Minister. He tweeted the name ‘Vidya Samiksha Kendra’. Here he inaugurated the country’s first Vidya Samiksha Kendra. The name kept in English is now kept in Gujarati. He had e-conversations with teachers and students here and asked questions about the Diksha app. The Prime Minister reviewed with the officers and staff of the Command and Control Center. The Prime Minister questioned how much teachers and students have benefited from the technology. From the monitoring room in the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, the Prime Minister gave necessary guidance in the field of education through direct e-communication with the parents, students, teachers, BRC, CRC, Taluka Primary Education Officer etc. of the state. Talking about sports, the Prime Minister said that there is nothing for physical activity in the chart. Sports is no longer an extra activity in the new education policy. Emphasis was placed on the nutrition of the students during the program. After completing the program at the Vidya Samiksha Kendra in Gandhinagar, the Prime Minister reached Raj Bhavan directly. Here he was given a warm welcome by Governor Acharya Devvrat. Through this center, video calling from mobile-tablet also checks which subject or chapter is being taught to the students at present. The answer sheets of each student’s examination can be seen sitting in the control center, so that there is no error in checking the answer script of any student. The Command and Control Center works with the main objective of making student learning more smooth and efficient.
