Colombo: Srileka, which is facing an economic crisis, is now getting back to normal but opposition to the increase in tax rates and utility rates by President Ranil Wickremesinghe is now beginning to emerge. Sri Lankan trade unions have announced a one-day nationwide strike against the tax. Behind which it was believed that the tax has been increased due to the pressure of the IMF. Wickramasinghe implemented the Essential Services Order covering all functions related to public transport, goods transport, ports and airports. Joseph Stalin, a member of the Teachers Trade Union, said in a statement that the Essential Services Gazette was issued following the strike announcement.
