The United Nations General Assembly has accepted the resolution presented by India. Under this proposal, a memorial wall will be built at the headquarters of the United Nations. At this memorial wall, tributes will be paid to soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in United Nations peacekeeping missions. The resolution was introduced by Ruchira Kamboj, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations. Which was supported by 190 countries. Later the United Nations accepted this proposal. The United Nations accepted the proposal and said that the memorial wall would be erected in a suitable and prominent place at the United Nations headquarters in New York. This wall will be built in honor of soldiers who sacrificed during the peace mission. India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ruchira Kamboj said the memorial wall will symbolize why the United Nations places so much emphasis on peace. At the same time, it will remind people how much the world has paid for their decisions. India introduced this proposal in 18 countries including Bangladesh, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Nepal, Rwanda and America. The proposal says that the construction of this memorial wall will be completed within three years. In 2015, India launched a virtual memorial wall at the United Nations, which pays tribute to Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in peacekeeping missions. The Prime Minister of India, Modi, expressed his happiness at the approval of the proposal for the construction of the memorial wall in the United Nations.
