Just Stop Oil activists have caused havoc at the World Snooker Championship and The Ashes this year.
Murray, 36, said: “There is probably a good chance of something happening. I am not sure how many times I have had somebody run on the court when I am actually playing.
“It may have been once, but I am not sure it has been more than that.
“I would imagine that probably something would happen here.
“I mean I agree with the cause — just not always how they go about expressing it.
“Rather than running on to the tennis court, maybe they could do it a different way.”
The eco warriors caused mayhem at the Crucible in Sheffield by throwing orange powder on one of the snooker tables.
England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow earned praise from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for the way he instinctively dragged one of the canister-carrying protestors off the Lord’s pitch last Wednesday.
Yet the All England Club do not want players to copy that approach, and will let security deal with any unwanted intruders.
Murray added: “I was talking about it with my family the other day.
“I don’t know, if somebody ran on to the court and came towards you, what your reaction would be to that.
“Because you don’t know who it is or what they are doing or why they are doing it.
“I don’t know if they would attach themselves to the net or throw something on to the court.
“They would have to be a bit careful going too near to tennis players who have obviously got racquets in their hands.
“I didn’t see what Jonny Bairstow did, but it could be dangerous.”
