Alun Wyn Jones, the former captain of Wales and the British and Irish Lions, has joined Toulon as a ‘medical joker’ for the duration of the tournament.
The 37-year-old second row, who announced his retirement from international rugby in May as the player with the most caps in the world, has been warmly welcomed by Toulon’s director of rugby, Pierre Mignoni.
