Karlie Kloss has officially become a mother of two!
On Tuesday, the 30-year-old supermodel and her husband Joshua Kushner joyfully welcomed their second baby into the world. Kushner, 38, took to Instagram on Thursday to share the exciting news, accompanied by a photo of their adorable bundle of joy.
“Welcome to the world,” he captioned the heartwarming photo.
The couple announced the expansion of their family while attending the Met Gala in May. Kloss, the former Victoria’s Secret model, proudly showcased her baby bump in a stunning black column dress adorned with elegant strands of pearls and intricate beading around the waist.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Kloss revealed her decision to debut her baby bump on the grandest night in fashion. “This is the most significant night in fashion, and honestly, I’m surprised I managed to keep it a secret for this long,” she shared.
In an interview with Vogue, she added, “I have a plus one, but shh… let’s keep it a secret.”
Kloss and Kushner are already doting parents to their son Levi Joseph, born in 2021. The couple exchanged vows three years ago in upstate New York, sealing their love and commitment.
In April 2022, the fashion model opened up about the transformative experience of motherhood during an interview on the Today Show.
Reflecting on the profound impact of having a child, she explained, “I just had this moment of like, ‘Wow, every woman who has a child, every parent goes through this,’ It’s just the most profound experience that I had no idea until having a kid.”
Kloss further shared, “Priorities change. Everything changes. I think the last few years have changed us as well. I have become, first of all, so much more efficient with my time. I’m actually on time everywhere now.”

Besides embracing the joys of motherhood, Kloss holds her married life in high regard. Speaking on the InCharge with DVF podcast in 2020, she couldn’t contain her love and admiration for her husband.
“I absolutely met, married, and am madly in love with my soulmate,” Kloss said. “He is truly my partner. He is my partner in life. He is my best friend. He is my other half. I didn’t know that I could love someone in this kind of way and I feel like I’ve almost grown up with him. I met him when I was 19 and I think there’s a lot of growing into myself that I still was doing when I first met him and still am to this day.”
