In the meantime, the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust (THST) has called for a reversal of ticket price increases and a freeze on prices for the 2024-25 season. It urged fans to resist price hikes, which it believes exploit their loyalty.
The THST statement emphasized that ticket price increases are not economically necessary for the world’s ninth-richest football club.
Instead, it argued that these increases are a conscious decision made by the club’s board, despite the backdrop of a cost-of-living crisis and already high prices.
The statement called on all Spurs fans to join them in sending a clear message to the club: enough is enough. Supporters’ trusts at Fulham, Wolves, and West Ham have backed the requests made by THST.
