He also noted her magnetic charisma and enigmatic aura, drawing comparisons to her idol Romy Schneider. Kruger has found success in both French auteur cinema, where she enjoys considerable fame, and Hollywood, where she has captivated audiences in blockbusters like “Troy” and “Inglourious Basterds.”
In recognition of her significant contributions to cinema, the festival is thrilled to welcome her back to Zurich and present her with the Golden Eye award.
During the festival, Kruger’s latest film, “Visions,” a gripping psychological thriller directed by Yann Gozlan, will have its international premiere. In this movie, she plays a married airline captain whose life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters an old flame.

The Golden Eye Award has previously been bestowed upon esteemed individuals such as Eddie Redmayne, Iris Berben, Kristen Stewart, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Malkovich, Helen Hunt, and Olivia Colman.
