An auction is currently underway for a microphone believed to be the very one that Cardi B hurled at a concertgoer over the weekend, with all proceeds going to charity.
The eBay listing, created by Scott Fisher, the owner of The Wave audio company, states that 100% of the funds raised from the microphone’s sale will be split between two charitable organizations: Friendship Circle Las Vegas and Wounded Warrior Project.

Fisher decided to take this philanthropic approach after receiving encouragement to auction the microphone, which he claims is the same one used by Cardi B during the now-famous incident.
In a Facebook post, he expressed his intentions: “I own the mic that Cardi B was nice enough to tomahawk at somebody that splashed some liquid on her a few days ago. After some encouragement from people, I decided to auction it off with 100% of the profit going to be split evenly amongst 2 charities. One is a local charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. The other is Wounded Warrior Project.”
As of the time of writing, the highest bid for the microphone stands at an impressive $50,800, and the auction is set to conclude on August 8.

Wounded Warrior Project is a charity that supports wounded service members, while Friendship Circle Las Vegas focuses on assisting children, teens, and young adults with special needs, along with their families.
According to the eBay listing, the microphone in question is a “Shure Axient Digital Mic.” Fisher asserts that he identified it as Cardi’s due to the white tape across the bottom, featuring the word “Main” written on it. He confirms that his company provided multiple microphones for the show and verified with the in-house crew that the specific one used by Cardi was labeled as “main.”
The incident that sparked this auction went viral, capturing the moment when Cardi B, the Grammy-winning rapper, retaliated against a member of the audience who threw a drink at her during her performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Videos of the occurrence show Cardi, clad in an orange dress, visibly shocked as she is hit by the liquid during her performance of “Bodak Yellow.” Reacting swiftly, she throws her microphone towards the person responsible, and security personnel appear to intervene.
In a separate video from the concert, Cardi’s DJ can be heard urging the crowd to “splash her down.” Following this, the rapper herself asked the crowd to douse her with water. The audience complied, leading to the rapper’s enthusiastic response. Nevertheless, it remains unclear whether these interactions with the audience occurred before or after the drink incident.
