FORMER Strictly Come Dancing star Arlene Phillips has sparked a new feud as she took a brutal swipe at the current judges.
Arlene was a judge on the BBC programme between 2004 and 2009.
Dame Arlene Phillips has spoken out about ‘boring’ feedback on Strictly[/caption]
She accused the judges, including Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke of rambling[/caption]
The 80-year-old told OK! Magazine: “The one thing about Strictly that I don’t really enjoy any more is the segment with the judges’ comments.
“I think they go on far too long. I usually just fast-forward those bits.”
Arlene also appeared on BBC Breakfast last month and the subject of Strictly came up.
Presenter Ben Thompson said: “When you’re on a project like that right from the beginning, it is such a little bubble isn’t it, and you worked so closely together so you inevitably are forming bonds, aren’t you?”
The dance legend opened up about her time on the show and even hinted at a secret feud.
Arlene said: “Yeah, you form a bond with some, you actually can’t stand others, but you know that’s life.”
She continued: “But you do form a bond and you know, I miss it.
“I miss being part of that crazy, crazy life.”
Arlene was on the panel alongside Craig, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.
In 2008 it was revealed that Arlene was going to leave the show and was to be replaced by Alesha Dixon.
