RANGERS boss Philippe Clement will review the red card that has ruled Jose Cifuentes out of the Viaplay Cup Final before he decides whether to appeal it.
The midfielder was sent off in Gers’ 3-1 win over Dundee, landing him a ban for next Sunday’s Hampden clash with Aberdeen.

Cifuentes was dismissed by ref Kevin Clancy after a VAR review of a challenge on Amadou Bakayoko.
Ibrox gaffer Clement said: “I’ve not seen the images back. Jose told me he lost the ball and wanted to win it back.
“He wanted to block the ball but the other guy is a split second faster and tackles through the ball and there’s contact. Jose tries to avoid it, he didn’t go through it, so I want to see things back to have a clear opinion so we can make an assessment in the next few days.”
Gers were forced to play the entire second half with ten men following Cifuentes’ dismissal.
Amadou Bakayoko fired the visitors into a shock lead. Cyriel Dessers levelled before goals from James Tavernier and Abdallah Sima appeared to have the home side cruising at 3-1 up.
But they had to dig in with ten men and Clement said: “The team showed that they are a team.
“I see this dressing room growing week by week. That is crucial. We are putting a lot of attention on that.
“I know you need a really strong dressing room where everybody fights for one another, where everybody is available for the team.
“You don’t win trophies without that. Everyone sees in the last few weeks this team sticking together in every sense.
“Players coming in, playing out of position and doing a job for the team.”
With Danilo out until after the winter break, Clement started with Dessers in attack.
He repaid his gaffer’s faith with his side’s all important equaliser.
And Clement said: “It is important for everybody. I don’t like to point out one player, but it was a really good goal, a striker’s goal that everybody wants to see.
“Besides that, he did his job, he worked.
“We need to get Cyriel to a better physical level, I want that for 90 minutes he is not there yet, that’s why I changed him and I am happy Kemar Roofe came in in a good way.
“He comes from really far away with his injuries so we need to monitor his game time but he also had a good contribution so everyone who came in did their job.
“We still have a long way to go. We need to get more players fit and we need to continue to work.
“But if the mentality stays like this then we will take more points.
“I am a glass half full man, I don’t want to be a half empty guy.
“I don’t want to look at the problems, I need to find solutions.
“It has not been easy, we had a few in the first few weeks.
“The players are giving me good solutions.”
