A MAN accused of murdering a sex worker had a “fascination with prostitutes”, a trial was told today.
A witness said he was a teen when Iain Packer, 51, took him on “creepy” drives around Glasgow’s red-light area.

The man, now in his 40s, was giving evidence at the city’s High Court, where Packer denies 46 charges that include slaying Emma Caldwell, 27, in 2005.
He recalled being taken by the accused in the early 1990s to the Anderston area, saying: “At the time I was probably too naive to realise, but he had a fascination with prostitutes.
“It became creepy. I felt uncomfortable.”
The trial also heard from sex workers who knew Emma and said they had done “business” with Packer.
One said he picked her up more than once and introduced himself as “Craig”.
It’s alleged she was indecently assaulted several times.
She also claimed Packer punched her and made her choke.
Another female alleged that Packer raped her at a sauna in Glasgow’s west end between 1998 and 2006.
She said he’d visit twice a week during the eight years she worked there.
The trial continues.
