She asked, “Ms Truss, can I ask you about Lee Anderson? Do you think he should be reinstated into the Conservative Party? Were his comments correct? Were they Islamophobic, Ms Truss?”
With no response forthcoming, Liz Truss retreated to the back of a waiting chauffeur-driven car, leaving the questions unanswered.
