A TAKEAWAY addict is half the man he was after losing 15st in less than a year — by ditching his 15,000-calorie a day junk food diet.
Leon Skirving ballooned to 32st after years gorging on takeaways, pies, sweets and crisps slathered in mayonnaise.

His favourite dinner was a 4,000-calorie, 16in doner meat pizza with extra cheese and covered in garlic mayo, which he would order at least four times a week.
But the 24-year-old of Methil, Fife, switched the greasy takeouts for high protein alternatives, joined his local leisure centre — and the pounds came tumbling off.
Leon, who now weighs 15st 13lb, said: “I’ve had no takeaways in six months.
“I do miss them, but I am so used to a low-calorie diet now.
“I had no mobility, I couldn’t clean myself, I couldn’t walk up the stairs, I couldn’t tie my shoes.
“But now I can sit in my chair cross-legged, which I’ve not done since I was a teenager.
“I was eating a week’s worth of food in a day.
“I just didn’t know how bad the food was.”
Leon’s diet used to include six buttered slices of bread for breakfast, pie rolls and sausage rolls for lunch and the pizza for dinner.
Now breakfast is more likely to be smoked salmon and poached eggs and dinner is steak with vegetables.
Leon, who is 5ft 7in and hoping to reach his target weight of 14st 4lb within the next few months, said: “You need to be honest with yourself to lose weight.
“I had no idea how calorific these portions were.
“I’m now learning everything I can about fitness and nutrition.
“I’ve got my life back and I want to show people they can do it too without surgery or medication.
“I’m loving this new life — I will never return to my old ways.”
Leon’s mother Vicky, 57, left, said: “The difference in him is unbelievable. I am so proud.”
