The Met Office has issues a 54-hour heat health warning for Kent with temperatures expected to reach towards the 30s.
The yellow alert is in place from 5pm Thursday until 11pm on Saturday as hot conditions are predicted across the county.
Temperatures are expected to skyrocket with some places in the county such as Gravesend, Dover and Maidstone being as hot as some European desintations. The warm weather will be a shock to some, as we have becoe accustomed to cold, wet weather this summer, so this will be a huge change to adjust to.
It comes days after a yellow weather warning for rain was issued across Kent which saw heavy downpours and lightning strikes. Gardeners will be working their socks off over next week, as the mixture of rain and hot temperatures will send garden plants into overdrive.
Experts are advising people to make sure they keep hydrated and take rest during the warmest times of the day to avoid heat exhaustion and fainting.
