Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward as well as any dashcam footage, after a pensioner reported a burglary by two men posing as delivery drivers in Longfield.
The incident happened at an address in Brickfield Farm Close after the victim answered a knock at his door, at 8.40am on Monday 22nd July 2024.
It is alleged he was pushed to the floor as the men entered the property and stole a quantity of cash and a watch. One of the suspects is described as wearing a red and yellow top and carrying a parcel.
Investigators are also issuing a CCTV image of a suspicious silver or gold Renault Clio that was seen in the area at the time of the incident. They are keen to talk to anyone with private CCTV and/or doorbell footage that may assist the investigation.
Detectives are especially keen to hear from motorists with dashcam footage who travelled along the B260 Main Road between the junctions with Brickfield Farm Close and Fawkham Road, between 8am and 9am on Monday.
