British sports car manufacturer Caterham has opened a new multi-million pound factory and global headquarters in Dartford.
The new manufacturing building will boost the firm’s production capacity by 50% and offer more employment opportunities for locals. Following a nine-month fit out, the new 54,000 sq ft Kent facility now features the very latest paint booths, an engine shop, a parts warehouse and 33 individual bays.
Each car builder will be responsible for the complete assembly of a Seven from start to finish.
