Former President Trump’s legal team is currently facing accusations of him committing four additional violations of a gag order.
On Tuesday, Judge Juan Merchan fined Trump $9,000 for nine separate violations, and now prosecutors from Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s office are arguing that he has committed four more violations through comments made outside the courtroom.
The prosecution has pointed out four instances where Trump commented on the jury in the trial, former lawyer Michael Cohen, and another witness, David Pecker, who testified last week.

These comments are in direct violation of the gag order imposed by Judge Merchan on April 1, which prohibits Trump from publicly speaking about witnesses, the jury, and their family members.
In response to the accusations, Trump has criticized the gag order as “unconstitutional” in a statement shared on social media prior to Thursday’s trial.
He has also attacked Judge Merchan, labeling him as a “conflicted” and “radical left” judge.
The ongoing legal battle surrounding the gag order violations adds to the already contentious trial.
As the proceedings continue, it remains to be seen how the court will address these additional accusations and their potential impact on the outcome of the case.
