A BODY has been found in the hunt for a missing walker nearly two years after they vanished.
Remains of a man believed to be Ross Kinghorn were discovered yesterday afternoon in the Glenfernate area of Blairgowrie.
There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and formal identification is yet to take place.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 4.50pm on Tuesday, 10 September, 2024, the body of a man was found in the Glenfernate area of Blairgowrie.
“Formal identification is yet to take place but the family of missing man Ross Kinghorn has been informed.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
