A train has collided with a car at Grove Ferry Road level crossing near Upstreet, Canterbury.
The incident happened on Friday 27th September. it is reported that the car broke down on the level crossing. Not the best place for ones car to break down.
The driver exited the vehicle to get away from danger, but there was not enough time to move the car off the crossing before a train came along. The train was unable to stop in time and collided with the car.
Thankfully there were no injuries, but the train line was closed for hours whilst the car was removed and the line was checked for any damage.
