Bricks and rocks were thrown at parked cars in Gravesend by a man who has now been jailed.
Neil Burt caused damage to five vehicles during the space of just three days.
At 10pm on Tuesday 21st January 2025, Burt targeted a car dealership in Overcliffe.
He threw pieces of brick at four stationary Vauxhalls, smashing a windscreen and causing scratches, gouges and scuffs.
The 65-year-old was arrested around 30 minutes later, and on Thursday 23rd January admitted four counts of criminal damage at Medway Magistrates’ Court.
He was immediately sentenced to eight weeks’ imprisonment.
Burt had previously appeared at the same court on Monday 20th January, when he admitted his involvement in a separate incident.
This happened the day before when a rock was thrown at a windscreen of a car parked at North Kent Police Station.
As well as the prison sentence, Burt was also ordered to pay a total of £740 in compensation relating to all five cars.
