Darius Jackson, the boyfriend of Keke Palmer, appeared to have temporarily deactivated his Twitter account following backlash for his comments on the platform regarding Palmer’s outfit choice.
Palmer had worn a black bodysuit under a sheer dress while attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency.
On Wednesday night, Jackson quoted a tweet featuring a video of Palmer in the outfit, dancing with the “Confessions” singer, and commented, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”
In a subsequent tweet, Jackson further explained his perspective, stating, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother of his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”
Asserting his values, the 29-year-old added, “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals that I believe in. I rest my case.”
While Palmer, also 29, has not publicly responded to Jackson’s remarks, she shared more photos of her outfit on Wednesday evening. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late!”
The post included a shot of her leaning into the camera and blowing a kiss, as well as a picture showcasing her curves in the sheer dress. She also shared close-up shots of the top of the outfit and a mirror selfie highlighting her figure.
Expressing her admiration for Usher, Palmer continued, “I am telling y’all right now, if you haven’t seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!! Giving theater, Atlanta downnn, tips and tricks and just absolutely iconic. I was truly inspired as a performer. I whooped some ass in spades too! Where is that pic of us all together with the King himself??”

During an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show in November 2021, Palmer initially revealed her relationship with Jackson, who is a fitness instructor and former college football player.
On Father’s Day, Palmer shared an Instagram reel featuring videos and photos of Jackson and their son, set to Khalid’s “Motion,” as a tribute to her boyfriend. In the caption, she congratulated him and expressed gratitude for having such a loving and supportive partner in their lives.
“Congrats Mr. Man, Leodis and I are so very happy to have such a fun, kind, responsible, dependable, and supportive man like you in our lives. It’s so wonderful to see the kind of loving father you are, but I’m not surprised,” she wrote.
