A CELEBRITY Big Brother star was left in tears when she received news from the outside world – after Big Brother broke its biggest rule.
The show almost never reveals news from the outside to contestants whilst they’re in the house.
In tonight’s episode, Big Brother told Marisha, who has a successful career both in Broadway, and in the West End, that she was nominated for an Olivier Award.
The housemates were playing lighthearted funfair-style games when Marisha was selected to visit the ‘fortune-telling machine’.
Big Brother said: “Marisha, it’s time to take a chance and see your future at the fortune-telling machine.”
Marisha retrieved a mini ball from the machine and unfolded it. The message on the sheet read: “There are exciting things ahead.
“On Sunday, April 14th, you will be sitting at the Olivier Awards as a nominee for best actress in a musical for Guys and Dolls.”
Marisha filled with emotion was met with cheers and hugs from her housemates.
The celebs rushed to congratulate her and jumped up and down with excitement.
This came after Big Brother fans flooded social media urging bosses to “tell her.”
One user penned on X, formerly known as Twitter: “You’ve got the makings of a great TV moment if you tell her in the house”
Whilst another added: “She should be told!! Let the housemates celebrate her achievements with her.”
A third wrote: “We would love to see her happiness , and especially after what Louis said, surely Big Brother can make an exception to the rules for the fans.”
The Olivier Awards is a ceremony that celebrates outstanding achievements in professional theatre in London.
Massive Hollywood stars that were also recognised include Nicole Scherzinger, Sarah Snook and Sarah Jessica Parker.
