A partnership of insurance, claims and assistance experts, with over 180-years of collective experience, today announce the official launch of global risk advisory, Inherent Risks, LLC.
The business brings together an exceptional group of talented professionals who will focus on practices and regions where they have a competitive advantage, and aims to meet the demand for reliable service, rapid problem resolution, and improved outcomes for its clients.
The executive board and leadership team includes well respected, industry experts and thought leaders, including:
Dawn Page (Director at the Hong Kong Tourism Board), Daryl Trawick (President of Trawick International), Dan Tuman (former President of Clements Worldwide), Mark Butler (former CEO at Europ Assistance) and Dan Kaine (former Head of Global Assistance at Traveller Assist).
Further key hire announcements will be made in due course.
Mark Butler, Head of Strategy & Development said, “As the former CEO of Europ Assistance and co-founder of Hotspot Cover, a travel insurance company that specialises in travel to high hazard regions, I understand the importance of partnering with a company with excellent networks, particularly in remote and even hostile regions, who can actually do what they say they can do, because lives, and the promise we have made to our travellers, depend on it. This opportunity just made sense. It fits seamlessly with our growth strategy, and future plans.”
Dan Kaine, Head of Risk & Crisis Advisory added, “This launch announcement is a culmination of twelve-months of hard-work, behind the scenes, listening to the market, refining our product(s), and ensuring the right people, processes and technologies are in place to provide outstanding and cost-effective services that our clients actually want and need.”
Although Inherent Risks is only now announcing its official launch, the company has been operating for the past 12-months. Recent successes resolving complex problems have included:
Setting-up and operating a crisis response centre to locate, coordinate transportation, and identify safe-havens for over two-hundred expat and local staff in Afghanistan in the wake of a coup by the Taliban. Developing a COVID-19 compliance program in support of the Olympic Games in Japan. Delivering critical medical supplies to Liberia and the Democratic Republic of Congo during an Ebola outbreak. And resolving kidnap, extortion and threat cases in Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, and the Philippines.”
Inherent Risks also report that they are in the process of developing some exciting new products, including a unique insurtech solution, within the travel insurance, iPMI, and employee benefits spaces that will underpin their abilities to solve complex problems, further enabling their clients to choose smarter, operate safer, respond faster and recover sooner.
