Tonight the retail manager will step foot in the villa in a bid to find The One – and she’s not the first one in her family to find love on the telly.
Speaking about it all, Jess previously said: “So my mum went on – when she was younger – she went on the knockoff version of Blind Date with someone called Bruce something.
“I can’t remember his name.
“And there’s video footage of it somewhere.
“My grandad tried to dig it out for us the other day. We can’t find it anywhere.
“So that’s a no go, but I’m basically doing the modern day version of what she did when she was like 18.
“My mum was like dead supportive, and my step dad as well. He’s like an icon.
“He’s like, ‘That’s amazing. Go on, live your best life’ all that stuff. So, so positive.”
It comes after Jess revealed a surprise link to a Manchester United legend.
She bumped into Wayne Rooney while working at Marks & Spencer.
The 25 year old said: “I did think ‘maybe this is where I’ll meet my future husband’ but I feel like work uniform doesn’t really go hand in hand with meeting a footballer.
“But I had Wayne Rooney in the other day… it’s not doing well for him, the old age. I was shocked.
“He was looking at the Master Grill range, but I was thinking Wayne, love, I’ll get you to the Count On Us range instead.
“He’s proper let himself go, god love him.
“I said to my friend, shall I go and talk to him?
“But he was just picking his grill, the Master grill, you know the posh stuff.
“I’d have got sacked if I’d sent him over to Count On Us!”
The Sun recently revealed Jess had left her former employers “furious” after walking out on a huge job promotion in order to find love in the villa.
Before heading to Majorca, Jess confessed the real reason why she wanted to join the cast.
She said: “All my friends are in relationships, settled down with babies and I’m going to end up that aunt that rocks up at family parties and they say ‘she’s still not met someone, she’s still going to Ibiza having a midlife crisis.’
“I just want to meet somebody and to be able to do all of that stuff too.”
Jess went onto describe why she thinks she is single ahead of her appearance on the show.
She said: “I think I’m single because I don’t underestimate the fact that I’m hard work.
“I know what I want and I’m not easily pleased. When you’re a loud, outgoing woman, sometimes it can intimidate men – men don’t always want that.
“I think that can sometimes put people off me because I am quite loud and you can hear me before you see me. Some men love that though.”
