COMEDIAN Janey Godley has shared a fresh update after being forced to cancel her tour due to her ongoing cancer battle.
The Scottish star, 63, also known to fans for her role in BBC crime drama Traces, was left devastated when she confirmed she had had to pull the plug on upcoming dates of her nationwide tour owing to her health battle.

She shared the news in a heartbreaking social media post just days ago where she revealed she had also been diagnosed with sepsis.
Amid her health woes, the star has now shared a positive update with her fans.
She shared a post about her daughter, radio star Ashley Storrie.
Janey confirmed that Ashley would be appearing as a contestant on Celebrity Mastermind.
Sharing a post of the infamous Mastermind chair, Janey wrote online: “Today my lassie is on celeb mastermind! I can’t be prouder!”
Janey further shared a snap of Ashley with many of her followers rushing to comment on the resemblance between the pair.
One fan said: “She looks so much like you Janey! How lovely for you all.”
Another added: “Gosh she looks like you, Janey.”
Before a third said: “Wow, go her! She’ll smash it. I’m not surprised your proud any decent mother would be.”
Earlier this week, Janey gave her 300,000-plus followers a sad update online.
She said: “I have to cancel my upcoming tour.
“I’m sorry but the cancer has spread and the Beatson cancer team have advised me to stop work.
“I am currently in hospital with sepsis ( it’s under control) pls contact your theatre for a refund – I’m sorry everyone.”
The comedian has been in hospital recovering from the deadly infection for the last eight days.
She told followers on X/Twitter that nurses had advised her to rest.
Janey added: “The sepsis is under control but the cancer is spreading.
“They’ve told me not to work, I have to just focus on just dealing with what we’re doing just now.
“I want to thank the Scottish NHS, Beatson, Marie Curie and everybody out there who has been so kind to me.”
Janey of Glasgow was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2021.
