Police officers stopped a hire vehicle in Greenhithe on Wednesday 16th October and found cash and cocaine.
At around 5pm on Wednesday 16th October 2024, a patrol spotted a Toyota Avensis they suspected was being used in the supply of drugs.
It was stopped in London Road and the three occupants were detained for a drug search.
The constables seized £1,025 in cash and four mobile phones. Several wraps of cocaine were recovered from a plastic bag with a further three located in the centre console.
The three men were arrested and taken into custody.
Anthony Elston, of Byron Close, Thamesmead, London, was later charged by detectives with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possessing criminal property (namely the seized cash).
Mr Elston, 39, was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 18 October.
Two men aged 41 and 29, were released on bail pending further investigation.
