FORTNITE offers a huge variety of cosmetics for players to buy, earn and equip to their characters.
With the aim to offer more ways for you to spend V-Bucks in-game, Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is adding a new type of cosmetics, called Kicks.
Fortnite Kicks are here, but not really… yet[/caption]
Kicks were teased at the start of the ongoing Remix season, and added with update v32.10.
The new cosmetic item lets you customise the shoes of your character.
Some Kicks designs are based on real-world brands like Nike, while others are custom-made for Fortnite.
Players who bought the current Fortnite Remix Battle Pass, are getting a pair of Air Jordan 1 High OGs for free.
How to get and equip Kicks in Fortnite
Just like any other Fortnite cosmetic, one way for players to get Kicks is by purchasing them from the Item Shop for V-Bucks.
They can also be obtained as Battle Pass rewards, for levelling up or completing specific quests.
Kicks have been officially added to Fortnite, but they cannot be equipped yet.
They were expected to become available with patch v32.10, but for unknown reasons, their launch has apparently been delayed.
Right now players are unable to equip Kicks, even though they appear in the game’s menu.
There’s nothing you need to do to enable them, but wait until they become available to equip.
We will keep you posted as we get more information about Kicks in Fortnite.
