KCC and Kent CRP are proud to announce that Cycle Rails have been installed at the following stations in Kent. Thank you to Southeastern for working with the Kent CRP to make this happen. The stations that have had the upgrade are:
Charing
Lenham
Harrietsham
Hollingbounre
Barming
Kemsing
For those unfamiliar with cyclerails, they are similar to a piece of guttering that is fixed to stairs to allow bicycles to be pushed up and down the stairs easily. It is a great improvement for these stations, although it is a shame that no-one took the effort to clean up the steps before installing the new cyclerails.
