The Indian Navy has added another lethal submarine to its fleet. The sixth submarine INS Vagshir under Project-2 has been launched on Wednesday. India has also built this submarine at home in Mumbai. The submarine will now be tested in different ways at sea and then the Navy will start using it formally. This submarine is a Scorpion class diesel electric submarine. It has a state-of-the-art tracking system. Which can detect enemy ships and submarines. This submarine can stay in the water for up to 40 days. The submarine will be trialled for the next one year and then the Navy will send it on separate missions. The submarine is named Vagshir after a predatory fish of the Indian Ocean. One of the submarines launched by the Navy in the 19th was named Vagshir. Who was retired in 19th. Now the same name has been given to the new submarine. Which is its sophisticated incarnation. The Wagshir submarine has received technical support from France. It was built in India. Four submarines under Project 4 have joined the Navy after tests. While various trials of the other one are currently underway. In which Vagshir will also be added.
