Former US President Bill Clinton has been released after being admitted to the ICU of a hospital in California for a blood-related infection.
In a footage capturing the exact moment Clinton made his way out of the Irvine Medical Centre, University of California, the former president was pictured walking out arm-in-arm with his wife and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as he greeted hospital staff and well-wishers in proximity to his cameo exit.

Following Clinton’s release, University of California Irvine Health Department of Medicine Executive Director Dr. Alpesh N. Amin, who oversaw the team of doctors that treated the former president, released a statement.
“President Clinton was discharged from UC Irvine Medical Center today. His fever and white blood cell count are normalized, and he will return home to New York to finish his course of antibiotics,” Amin wrote. “On behalf of everyone at UC Irvine Medical Center, we were honored to have treated him and will continue to monitor his progress.”
SurgeZirc UK reported earlier that Clinton checked himself into the UC Irvine Medical Center’s intensive care unit for a urinary tract infection that the doctors said had spread to his bloodstream.
According to his doctors, the former president was admitted to the ICU not because he needed intensive care, but to give him privacy.
